When entering the dating world, the goal is ultimately make yourself look attractive to those you are interested in, of course, that’s not just your physical attractiveness, too.
So, the best course of action is perhaps to listen to those who are open on what type of person they are looking – what are their idea of a green flag trait?
Presenter, reality star and influencer Michelle Bingley, sat down with Brian Goldstein for the Truth Hurts Show, where she provided insights into the traits she believes that make men more attractive to women.
According to Bingley, who believes the ‘traditional way of dating‘ no longer exists, there’s one specific trait she looks for in a man.

“The traditional way of dating has completely gone, people don’t even really date anymore,” she said. “They kind of just meet up, there’s no courtship or impressing people, that’s completely gone out of the window which is quite sad.”
Bingley explained that for her, she thinks it’s ‘very attractive’ when men take the lead.
“As a woman, especially when you want to stay as a feminine woman, you don’t really want to take the direction of the relationship,” she continued.
“I think it’s very attractive when a man can just guide and you can naturally follow [that’s] how I like it to be.”
Bingley also revealed what she doesn’t like, explaining that she prefers meeting men ‘organically’.
“I don’t like DMs, I like organic meetings but obviously, we’re in a generation now where you can DM Beyoncé, you can literally contact anyone you want through social media, which is a scary thing because then you think, what if I don’t run into them?
“You don’t leave it to fate, you don’t leave it to chance, you just go and use social media which I don’t like.”
Speaking of traditional dating, we recently told you how a couples’ therapist Lori Gottlieb was criticised for her response to the age old question: Who should pay on a first date?
Appearing on Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, Gottlieb explained that over the years, she has noticed a dramatic shift in a lot of her male patients, saying that a lot of them aren’t sure about ‘how to be a man in today’s world‘.
“It used to be much more clear,” she said. “I’m not saying that was a good thing, because there were all kinds of power dynamics that weren’t so healthy for men and women.
“But I think now what men are saying is, ‘Maybe I don’t want to be the person solely responsible…I would like my partner to also bring in some income’.”

Gottlieb said that a lot of people think that paying on a date isn’t merely just settling a bill, it has to ‘mean something’.
“I think a lot of people would say, ‘Oh well, it means that you expect something back from me – you expect we’re going to have sex or whatever’,” she added.
“It’s not so important that we know what it means, it’s more important that we know what it means to the person that we are interested in.
“It’s going to mean something different to everybody, so if we can’t talk to this person that we’re interested in about what it means, then both people are going to be mired in confusion.”
Gottlieb explained that if a man asked to split the bill, it would be a big ‘ick’ for her.

A licenced psychotherapist has opened up about the one thing that changed her sex life forever.
Vanessa Martin has studied human sexuality at Brown University and now runs YouTube channel ‘Vanessa and Xander Marin’ with her husband Xander.
Known as ‘that sex couple’, the duo provide intimate advice for people who may feel ’embarrassed about sex’.

Xander considers himself a ‘regular dude’ who left his career in tech ‘once he realised it was more fun to talk about sex with his wife all day’.
In a video from earlier this year, Vanessa spoke about a simple, but effective realisation ‘that changed my sex life forever’.
“When I first started having intercourse, it involved a lot of waiting around, like waiting for my partner or for the intercourse itself to just deliver me this magical orgasm,” she began.
“Because that’s all I’d ever seen on TV and in the movies, right? Like sex just seems so effortless, so natural, so easy, except that wasn’t happening.

“And I started feeling really scared and frustrated and freaked out, like my male partner was having orgasms.
“It seemed effortless and easy and straightforward for him. So what was wrong with me?
“Why wasn’t it happening for me? But then I had the realization that changed everything. I realized that orgasm actually wasn’t effortless for my male partner.
“He was actively participating in creating his own orgasm. He was getting into the positions that he liked, moving at the angles that he liked, at the pace and the depth that he liked.
“He was making his own orgasm happen. And I started thinking to myself, ‘What would sex feel like if I went after my own pleasure in that same unapologetic way?’
“So I decided to try it out, and lo and behold, that is when I started having orgasms with a partner for the very first time.
“Now I’m a sex therapist, and I want the same thing for you.
“Stop waiting around letting sex be done to you, and start having sex like a guy does you?”
According to YouGov stats from 2022, only three in ten British women (30 percent) say they orgasm every time they have sex.
Highlighting the orgasm gap between men and women, they added: “By contrast, three in five British men overall (61 percent) say they reach climax every time they have sex, with another 23 percent saying they do so on most occasions. Just 10 percent say they do so sometimes, rarely or never.”

Rather than going to the effort of becoming an amateur sleuth if you’ve got suspicions that your partner might be playing away, you could always take heed of a private detective.
Sometimes, it’s just better to leave it to the experts – and these investigators are already well aware of all the signs they need to look out for which suggests someone is cheating.
Aaron Bond, who works for Bond Rees Private Investigations, has plenty of experience following the breadcrumb trails of deceit left behind by love rats.
Now, he’s decided to share his wealth of knowledge with the rest of us so that we can smell someone being unfaithful a mile off.
The private eye has revealed the four most common red flags which he believes indicate that your partner is having an affair behind your back.
There are four common signs that your partner may be hiding an affair, according to a private investigator (Getty stock images)
The spark returns
At the beginning of most relationships, there’s a lot of cringey emotions flying around – for example, you might think your connection is ‘electric’ and get butterflies in your stomach each time you see them.
But at some point, the honeymoon phase comes to an end and reality sets in, meaning you might start running into real obstacles with your partner.
However, if they suddenly start acting too lovey-dovey while you are going through a bit of a rough patch, Bond believes it might be a tactic to disguise their extra-marital activities.
“We’ve seen this a lot in our time as private investigators, a relationship doesn’t seem to have that spark anymore and then all of a sudden it does,” he told the Huffington Post.
“While I’m sure sometimes this can be genuine as someone may be trying to fight to keep their relationship alive, in my experience, it’s often used to cover up their tracks of them cheating on you.”
There’s some right devious b***ards out there, clearly.

Multiple accounts
You might have heard of two-timers having another phone so it’s easier to conceal their digital trail of deceit, but what about multiple email addresses and social media accounts?
According to the private detective, this is a huge hint that your other half might have another bit on the side.
“Cheaters sometimes have other phones that you may not know about, but they nearly always have additional emails and social media accounts you don’t know about,” he explained.
“With additional accounts, they can hide everything from you, including their messages, naughty images and everything else in between.
“While it’s difficult to find if your partner has other accounts, what you may notice is that they almost become defensive around you with their phone.
“They may be cautious of opening certain apps or they may shield the phone away from you.”
Changing travel arrangements
A lot of people have to travel a lot for work and can be sent all over the show for the needs of the business – but if your partner suddenly switches up their usual itinerary, it could be a red flag.
Cheaters have been using the excuse that they’re ‘working away’ since the dawn of time, as you can’t really argue with what they claim are their bosses demands.
And that’s exactly why people are still using it today, the private detective says.
“Deceitful people will use the ruse of work to cover up their cheating tracks simply because it’s hard to prove otherwise,” Bond explained.

“Have they all of a sudden started to stay late on a certain day or time of the month?
“What we find is that when people cheat they tend not to do it in their local area, and will go a few towns across so no one knows them and they can get away without being spotted.
“An overnight stay with work is a perfect alibi for this.”
Cash is king
In this day and age, the majority of people are using contactless cards to make their purchases – but this is a bit of a problem for love rats.
Remember when Whitney Houston sang about finding those credit card receipts on ‘It’s Not Right But It’s Okay’? Exactly.
If you’re cheating on your partner, the last thing you want is a paper trail of it, so the only solution is to pay with cash instead.
Bond said that in his experience, if your beau suddenly starts using legal tender a lot more all of a sudden, it might suggest they are trying to conceal what – or who – they are spending money on.
He continued: “While using cash isn’t a red flag, if you have a joint account or have access to each other’s statements and you see more cash withdrawals than usual then it’s a sign that your partner is hiding something.
“Cheaters will often create fake expenses to account for these cash withdrawals and it’s often what gets them caught.
“Having to lie about where and when they spent their money can be difficult to remember and cheaters often get their stories mixed up.”

We’ve all had a crush before, but the issue has always been trying to find out whether they like you back or not.
It is the age old problem, but it looks like there is finally a way to find out if they find you as good looking as you find them.
There are numerous ways to take notice of the negative things in relationships, if you are being neglected by your partner or growing apart, but it may be just as hard to get into a relationship in the first place.
Trying to decipher if the person you’re interested in feels the same, or whether that text the sent means *this* or *that*… there’s no doubting it can get exhausting.
Luckily though, TikTok user @magnetizeyourman may just have broken the code and revealed the secret.
The account is run by married couple Antia and Brody, who also have a website together that helps people find healthy relationships, with Antia working as an ‘Expert Love Coach’.
In their viral TikTok video, Brody explains: “One sign that you’re more attractive than you think: You rarely get compliments on your looks.”
TikTok/@magnetizeyourman
It may seem surprising, but he continues: “Now hear me out on this one cause it may seem counter intuitive, but think about it.”
“If you’re somebody who’s attractive, most people will assume that you’re already getting a lot of compliments on your looks, you’ve gotten them in the past, or that it may be cliche for them to compliment on your looks.”
It does make sense, but then how would you know they were interested in you?
Brody revealed: “They’ll compliment you on other things such as your personality, something you did, what you’re wearing.”
It could be that easy to identify, as he concludes: “It’s something to consider, that that could be the case for you, that people may actually be not complimenting you as often because they already assume you’re getting compliments in that specific area.”
For all the overthinking and scrambled thoughts in your head over the person you’re interested in, the answer might be right there.
The solution is easier to find than most may think, and it could save you a lot of time and headache.
Well, people were mindblown, with many taking to the comments to reveal how they actually don’t seem to be complimented an awful lot, with one saying: “I rarely get compliments and yeah, I’m gorgeous. Worry less about what others think, just work on yourself and make goals.”
And another pondered: “I thought that when they compliment my personality it is because I’m not attractive.”
Who knew that it was right there in front of us?
