When it comes to washing clothes and cleaning themselves, options are similarly limited, as the only shower in the jungle is cold water running from a nearby ‘waterfall’.
Or celebrities can simply ditch bathing and changing their clothes altogether.
One person who appears to be doing this is 38-year-old Jones, who admitted on a recent episode hadn’t changed his boxers for multiple days.
“I’ve not changed my boxers that I had a snake on,” he declared to the camp.
Expanding on his bold hygiene admission, Jones joked: “Since it’s rained I’ve not washed. Don’t fight it, just stink!
“What do spiders do? They don’t get up and shower, do they,” he added.
It would appear the McFly singer isn’t the only campmate making a stinky protest either, with Oti Mabuse later revealing how the cold weather is deterring celebs from taking a shower. “We are all stinking up that camp right now, it’s disgusting and I smell horrendous,” she said.
However, the campmates hygiene habits are not ones which doctors endorse.

Other than the obvious fact that not showering or changing your clothes will mean you smell bad, it can also lead to various health complications.
In a recent TikTok post, TV health expert Dr Jen Caudle outlined the reason why changing your pants every day is more important than ‘personal preference’.
“Changing your underwear every day helps potentially lower the risk of moisture being trapped in your genital area and developing bacterial yeast infections and stuff like that,” she explained in the clip.
Which is certainly not something which will make the jungle experience any more enjoyable.
According to Yahoo Life, reusing unclean underwear can also increase your risk of developing bacterial infections – such as a UTI – or a fungal infection, as the accumulated sweat provides the perfect breeding ground for fungus to grow.
Easy way to avoid this? Change your underpants.

A former I’m A Celeb star has shared some bizarre underwear advice to this year’s campmates.
Most Haunted presenter Yvette Fielding took part in the 2015 series of the ITV show and OG fans may remember her clever underwear trick during the Bushtucker Trials.
Watch below:
Fielding was the third contestant eliminated from the jungle, leaving camp after just 18 days, as Geordie Shore‘s Vicky Pattison went on to be crowned the ‘Queen of the Jungle’.
Now, those who watched I’m A Celeb at the time might recall the now 56-year-old taking part in the Ghost Train Bushtucker Trial.
As the five youngest campmates competed in the challenge, Fielding said: “This challenge was made for me, it’s seriously, I feel at home here.
“I feel I could lie in one of these and spin around all night and I’ve come prepared.
She wore her knickers on her head (ITV)
“I’ve bought my own lovely, black knickers they are clean and put on my head to cover my ears so hopefully nothing will be able to crawl in there.”
Recalling her out-of-the-box thinking in a recent interview with the Daily Star, she advised this year’s contestants to do the same.
“I know you think you’ll look stupid but when you’ve got cockroaches crawling in your ear. You’ll be grateful,” she said.
“They’ve got to be big knickers. I do understand that a lot of women will go, ‘Oh no, I’ll look weird.’ But who gives who gives a hoot?
“Just stick them on your head because otherwise you could get something going in your ear and you going to want to get it out. But make sure that you get some black knickers, because it’ll just look like a nice shiny cap.”
She wasn’t a massive fan of the ghost train in the end (ITV)
She claimed to have also once asked I’m A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec to appear on Most Haunted, adding: “I’ve asked them but I asked them years ago.
“Declan was really up for it, but Ant was like ‘Oh, no, I think he was a bit scared of it. I can’t really remember, but I love taking celebrities that are a little bit sceptical, sullied and cynical, on a ghost hunt and watching the whole character change because what they’re seeing, they’re like, ‘What the hell’s going on?’
“I’ve done so many of them, but every group that I’ve ever worked someone always goes ‘Oh, there’s somebody obviously banging on the door next door’.
“I said, ‘Well, go on, then go and have a look’. And they go and have a look, and there’s nothing there.”

Ant and Dec issued a ‘watch this space’ warning as one of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! stars admitted to breaking the rules.
Fans have been calling for the presenters to take action after Dean McCullough made the confession during last night’s (20 November) episode.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ had already hinted to some of his campmates that he had sneaked in some contraband into the jungle but while chatting to Jane Moore, he made things pretty clear.
The Loose Women star had said she’d quite like a cuppa when she gets up, with McCullough saying: “By the way, I have tea bags. So if I pour you a cup of tea just… would you prefer it tonight or tomorrow?
Caught on the cameras, the star could be in hot water for sneaking in the banned items to camp – even if it is just a few harmless tea bags.
But it doesn’t seem like he’s going to get away with it. As the camera cut back to Ant and Dec in the studio, they explained: “Tea?!” and slammed it as ‘contraband’.
Dec then gave a straight look down the lens as he shot: “Watch this space!”
Later appearing on the spin-off show, I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked, the presenter warned there will be repercussions for McCullough smuggling in the tea bags.
He explained the team are getting some clarification on the comments and checking it out after hearing what he said – so that suggests they possibly haven’t yet spotted him actually drinking tea.

And when it comes to punishment, that’s a little trickier due to McCullough and GK Barry failing to pick up any stars in their Bushtucker Trial.
“We’d normally take a star away but they haven’t won any!” Dec said.
ITV viewers pointed out the big mistake McCullough made in the first place as they wrote on X: “Not Dean whispering about tea bags like he hasn’t got a mic and 10 cameras on him.”
Another was baffled by the show bosses: “Why haven’t they taken Dean’s teabags away yet? He’s admitted twice now that he has them.”
“Why is Dean going round telling everyone he has teabags?? I’d be keeping that to myself and secretly going to the dunny with a cup of hot water making myself a tea?” one asked.

Others wondered whether the show’s producers were waiting and ‘seeing how many people he tells’ before taking the tea bags away, and admitted that Dean was starting to get on their nerves as he ‘doesn’t play by the rules by smuggling in tea’.

Former Love Island star Maura Higgins has given fans a much-needed update on her heading into the I’m A Celebrity jungle as she issues a warning to campmates.
The Irish TV personality, 33, who appeared on the dating show in 2019, said her mum ‘nearly died’ when she told her she would be entering the jungle.
Maura is set to join the 10 campmates alongside late arrival Rev Richard Coles.
“She went: ‘Maura, how are you going to do that?’” Higgins recently said to The Mirror. “She is baffled as I’m more of an indoor girl…I like my hotels. I’ve never slept outside.”
On her biggest I’m A Celeb concern, she added: “I just don’t want to let people down, because everyone’s been DMing me, saying ‘Oh my God, I hope you’re doing the show.’
“I don’t want to back out of the trials and be the biggest wimp in the camp. If spiders go over the top of my head, I might just die.
“I’m not a nervous person at all. I don’t get anxiety. But for this show, when I think about it, I’m like, ‘Oh God’.”
That being said, Maura warns that she isn’t one to shy away from a confrontation.

“It’s been five years and I think I’ve matured, but I still have a potty mouth,” she explained. “I’m still the same kind of girl but I’m not going to go in and annihilate anyone.
“However, if someone gets on my nerves, I’m not really one to hold it in. I do speak my mind. If someone patronized me, I get really irritated. Like, that’s one thing that really drives me mad.”
One thing she is looking forward to though is not having her phone on her, which would be a nightmare for most people.
“I never care about my phone really,” she said. “Like, even on Love Island, a lot of the Islanders were complaining about missing their phone. I was like, ‘I’m loving not having my phone’.”
The influencer also touched upon not being glammed up, admitting: “I’ve not even got my brows done… I’ve not done anything. I cannot wait to just not have to get up and put makeup on and care about it, because it’s not that type of show. Like, you’re not really in there to look good, are you?”

On top of this, Higgins can’t wait to ask Coleen Rooney about the infamous Wagatha Christie case in 2022.
As you’ll remember, the wife of Wayne Rooney accused Rebekah Vardy on social media of leaking her private information to the press. After Vardy sued her for libel in July 2022, the court said Rooney’s allegation was ‘substantially true’, and ordered Vardy to pay 90 percent of her costs.
“I want to talk to her about that….I’m bit nosy like that,” she added. “I would do the exact same and put up something on my story and just have certain people view it to catch that person out. That is the way my brain would work.”
