“There’s a canopy in the middle so all the beds are here,” Ant continued, before using Dec’s breakfast beans to demonstrate viewers at home.
While the canopy might cover the beds, it won’t be much use if the rain is coming sideways, Ant said.
Producer Olly Nash told The Mirror in 2016 that the camp even has a secret cave.
“Quite obviously this is the shower. Next door is a secret cave which will be hidden behind a locked door,” he explained.
“It will be used a number of times through out the series for our celebrities.
“Inside it is just a plain cave with a bench but we will be using it through out the series for various events.

“The floors a bit hard – but it can be used for romance.”
And in 2006, former contestant Lauren Booth told the Daily Mail that the shower isn’t as ‘natural’ as it’s made out to be.
“The waterfall, like the pool beneath it, was not part of the jungle at all, but a man-made creation,” she said.
“Unless, of course, ‘real’ rainforest waterfalls get turned off between three and six every afternoon.”

I’m A Celeb is considered to be one of the UK’s toughest reality shows as celebrities go from luxury-living and central heating to caveman fires and showering with cold water.
Add in some creepy crawlies from the Bushtucker Trials and you’ve got ITV’s most popular show.
Back in the day though, the creepiest thing on I’m A Celeb were the shower scenes, first made famous by Myleene Klass in her white bikini in 2006.
Although she was wearing a swimming costume, some rather thirsty sections of the nation were keen to watch.
For this year’s competition, various celebs have shared their thoughts on the show’s ‘cringe’ shower scenes, and producer Olly Nash has acknowledged that I’m A Celeb is a different programme to what it used to be.
He said: “It’s funny, they have all asked about that this year, but most people just cover themselves up. And it’s absolutely changed.
“I think the whole world has changed, hasn’t it A lot over the years, and people are less likely to get in there and want to flaunt themselves.”

That being said, it turns out that the waterfall shower isn’t as ‘authentic’ as you thought.
In 2006, former contestant Lauren Booth told the Daily Mail: “The waterfall, like the pool beneath it, was not part of the jungle at all, but a man-made creation.
“Unless, of course, ‘real’ rainforest waterfalls get turned off between three and six every afternoon.”
Hosts Ant and Dec also made a confession about the jungle, as Ant said in a TikTok video: “They don’t cover the camp.”
Dec added: “There’s like a canopy.”
“There’s a canopy in the middle so all the beds are here,” Ant continued, before using Dec’s breakfast beans to demonstrate viewers at home.

Several stars from the I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here 2024 line-up have shared their thoughts on the show’s infamous shower scenes.
For those unaware with this particular piece of jungle history, the I’m a Celebrity... jungle shower became notorious back in 2006 when singer and TV show host Myleene Klass stepped under the cold water in a white bikini and left thirsty viewers up and down the nation gobsmacked by the sight.

Despite the fact that Klass was just a woman in a swimming costume taking a shower, the moment has remained a key moment in I’m a Celebrity... lore, with ‘bikini’ coming up as one of the suggestions when you type the now 46-year-old’s name into Google.
Plenty of other celebrities have since attempted to cash in on the moment over the following years, with the likes of Katie Price and even Nigel Farage stripping off for the shower.
However, the world has since moved on and several of the I’m a Celebrity… 2024 stars have now shared their thoughts on the situation – with one even branding the idea ‘cringy’.
Speaking about their shower plans in an interview with The Mirror ahead of her jungle stint, N-Dubz singer and former X-Factor judge Tulisa revealed she thought that playing up to the cameras while in the shower was ‘mad cringy’.
“If you overdo it, it just feels mad cringy to me. I don’t feel like Myleene, years ago, had that in mind,” the 36-year-old explained, adding that she would only be taking black bikinis into the jungle.

Ex-Strictly Come Dancing professional Mabuse was in agreement when it came to the shower situation, adding: “I don’t intend on being that gal in the papers. That’s not me. I’m probably going to wear a full blown out costume with some trousers.”
Meanwhile, GK Barry appears to be taking a more relaxed approach to the shower situation despite speaking to ITV bosses about the particular moment. “They said to me that they don’t really do that anymore,” the podcaster, whose real name is Grace, revealed.
However, the 25-year-old did add that she had packed a handful of bikinis for the shower, just in case.
The three women’s sentiments were echoed by I’m a Celebrity… producer Olly Nash, who added: “It’s funny, they have all asked about that this year, but most people just cover themselves up. And it’s absolutely changed.
“I think the whole world has changed, hasn’t it A lot over the years, and people are less likely to get in there and want to flaunt themselves.”
I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! starts on Sunday September 17 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

It appears that there has been another near-miss in the jungle after social media users jumped to the defence of one camp mate.
Since the show started, there have been a few fallouts between the cast of I’m A Celebrity, including the infamous row between Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix.
But now, it appears that excitable Sam Thompson has been pre-emptively taken under the wing of his fans after he was told to tone down his enthusiasm before a trial.
In a recent episode, Thompson wanted to give Rose a little pick-me-up after noticing her hesitation about their upcoming challenge.
ITV
He told her: “Nella, I’m going to give you the most encouragement you’ve ever seen in your life. When a spider is hurling across the wall onto your face…”
Though, Rose may have been too anxious to listen to his speech as she immediately stated: “I’m done, no,” and walked away.
This interaction seemed to leave Thompson believing that Rose wanted another camp mate to pair up with her instead, as he felt ‘guilty’ after their short conversation.
He said: “I think she wants someone else to do it with her. I think I’m going to let her down.”
But wires had obviously been crossed during the interaction as the YouTuber claimed to ‘love Sam to bits’ when speaking to fellow camp mate Danielle Harold.

Rose went on to comment that he ‘overwhelms me very quickly when I’m trying to be Zen. I want to hear more like you’ve got this, it’s only temporary – not you’ve got a spider on your face’.
She went on to call him over for a chat and speak to him about his ‘energy’.
She remarked: “This is the energy we need for the trial. You see this peace we have unlocked. We need calmness. Because Nella gets overwhelmed.”
Many have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the situation.
ITV
“Why does everyone have to cater to how Nella feels?” one user asked.
Another wrote: “Protect this man [Thompson] at all costs!”
While a third said: “Sam is our wholesome, respectful king.”
Another shared a photo of an excitable Golden Retriever and added: “Sam Thompson at all times.”
Others pointed to Thompson’s recent ADHD diagnosis as a possible reason for his excitable character.
“Doesn’t Sam have ADHD? He can’t help who he is why should he have to change who he is for you Nella?” one user wrote.
“Not Nella slating Sam as if he’s not got ADHD and is very open about it,” echoed another.
Though, it appears that Thompson has taken it in his stride and isn’t harbouring any negative feelings, regardless of how X users feel.
