Nicole Kidman ‘can’t even talk about’ one scene in movie she had to pause after ‘having too many orgasms’

Nicole Kidman has revealed there’s one particularly explicit scene in her new x-rated movie which she ‘can’t even talk about’.

You may have somehow missed the memo, but Little Big Lies star Kidman is playing the lead role in a very raunchy movie which follows the story of a high-ranking CEO engaging in a kinky affair with a much younger male intern.

You can watch the trailer here if that sort of film tickles your fancy:

Premiering in US cinemas on none other than Christmas Day, with a UK release date currently penciled in for the new year, Babygirl sees Where the Crawdads Sing actor Harris Dickinson play the role of Samuel, the much younger intern and Romy’s (Kidman) eventual lover, while Antonio Banderas takes on the role of her husband Jacob.

Given the highly erotic nature of the film, attention has naturally turned to the numerous sex scenes set to feature in Babygirl as well as what it was like for the cast to film them.

Aware this could be a particularly hot topic when it came to promoting the film, Kidman has not shied away from questions about the sexual aspect of the role – even revealing that she had to halt filming at one point as she ‘didn’t want to orgasm any more’.

Yes, you read that right.

However, it would appear there is one scene in particular which is so hair raising that the 57-year-old actress ‘can’t even talk about’ due to how raunchy it is.

Touching on the subject during a recent interview with GQ, Kidman was asked about the film’s opening sequence – which reportedly sees Romy fake an orgasm during disappointing sex with her husband, before masturbating to S&M themed pornography – and her response was a little bashful.

“I can’t even talk about that!” she replied.

Despite finding the film’s more explicit moments particularly difficult to discuss, Kidman was full of praise for director Halina Reijn as well as her co-stars.

“I don’t know what to say. But I love it,” she said of Babygirl. “I love the film, so I don’t want to deny it or put it down.”

Going on to explain why she decided to take such an explicit role, she added: “It’s part of what I do. I’ve never shied away from sexuality on screen, ever… [Reijn] wanted to make a film about liberation, female pleasure. And I wanted to do that!”

We can only imagine what it will be like to watch this film in the cinema.

Here’s everything you need to know about ‘the miracle molecule’

There’s plenty of ‘miracle’ anti-ageing products out there, but these gummies might just be worth the hype.

NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a bit of a buzzword in the world of anti-ageing at the moment. Or you might have heard of the abbreviation NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). But don’t let those long and technical names put you off.

Both have quickly become a must-have with celebrities such as Joe Rogan, The Kardashians and Hailey Bieber reportedly big fans.

Orange County

And even though they’ve been hooking themselves up to NAD IV drips, there is a way for us to benefit from the supplement here in the UK and thankfully there are no needles or injections involved.

If you’re looking for an easy and tasty way to get some of the same benefits that the celebs have been getting, Orange County’s NMN Gummies have just hit the market. And when we found out that you could take what is thought to be ‘the miracle molecule’ in the form of gummies, we were certainly intrigued.

I mean, who wouldn’t want to take all their vitamins and supplements in gummy form?

Here’s what you need to know about the latest anti-ageing supplement and why it might be beneficial to you.

What is NMN?

First of all, it’s important to break down what NMN means and according to Healthline, “at specific doses, NMN supplements may help improve insulin sensitivity and heart function and reduce tiredness with few side effects.” But as with any supplement or vitamin that you might be thinking about taking, it’s a good idea to consult your GP or pharmacist before doing so.

NMN is a molecule that our bodies make naturally and while research is still ongoing, it is thought to help with brain and heart health, sleep, memory and a few chronic conditions.

And Orange County’s NMN Gummies make taking the supplement so much easier.

If you’ve ever struggled to swallow numerous chalky tablets as you try to take your daily vitamins and supplements, you’ll know how quickly that becomes rather off-putting and stops you from making it a part of your daily routine. Whereas, these mixed fruit-flavoured gummies definitely go down a lot easier.

The reason that the celebs have been flocking to try this particular supplement is the fact that it is reported to slow down the ageing process, with some claiming that it can slow down or reverse the natural signs of ageing such as hair thinning and loss and skin elasticity and firmness.

How much do the gummies cost?

The Orange County NMN Gummies are priced at £26.99 for a tub of 30 gummies. Or, you can save 20% on every order if you buy them via their subscription, making each tub just £21.59 or 80p a gummy.

And if you’re still not sure if they’re for you, they also have a 30 day money back guarantee, allowing you to try them out to see if you notice any difference to your overall energy levels and skin or hair.

Lizzy Talbot knows what she’s talking about when it comes to crafting a thoughtfully curated sex scene

An exhausting day at work might look a lot different for us lot than it does for Nicole Kidman, but at least we don’t have to feign multiple orgasms in front of an entire production crew before clocking off.

The Australian star, 57, might not be getting her hands dirty on a film set, but you can’t say the same about her behaviour.

In fact, she admitted she was forced to take a time out while shooting intimate scenes for Halina Reijn’s erotic thriller, Babygirl, as she felt so ‘burnt out’ from repeatedly pretending her world had been rocked in front of an entire production crew. Take a look at the trailer here:

That’s not to say she didn’t enjoy filming the risqué scenes with her on-screen lover, played by London-born actor Harris Dickinson, but seen as though the whole film hinges on their steamy affair, there’s obviously plenty of parts where she has to simulate getting her rocks off.

Kidman stars as workaholic CEO Romy in Babygirlwho ends up having a fling with her much younger intern Samuel while her husband (Antonio Banderas) has no clue.

The flick – which is set to be released in UK cinemas on 10 January, 2025 – is set to explore the nature of power dynamics and sexuality within a professional setting, so it’s a bit like 50 Shades of Grey meets The Office by the sounds of things.

Kidman has shared some of the secrets regarding how she and Dickinson, 28, got hot and heavy without actually doing so, as well as praising the movie’s intimacy coordinator, Lizzy Talbot, for lending her expertise.

But how about we cut out the middle man and go straight to the horse’s mouth – or should I say sex scene guru – to find out her magic formula for fashioning a salacious yet sophisticated moment between two stars on set?

Talbot has been behind some of the most racy scenes in both TV and film in recent years, having worked on the likes of Bridgerton, No Hard Feelings, The Witcher and This Is Going to Hurt, after previously coordinating fight scenes.

Scraps to sex, eh.

She’s nearly a decade into this side of things now and she reckons that her former role helped her on her massively on her quest to become an intimacy coordinator, as both involve ‘choreography, risk management and powerful storytelling through physicality’.

Talbot previously told Spotlight that the cast set their boundaries before they step foot on set, while also explaining that her job doesn’t just finish when the sex scene has.

The intimacy coordinator said: “Before the shoot, actors fill out intimacy riders, which state the limits of what they are willing to do during scenes that involve simulated sex or intimacy.

“During the shoot, we instigated closed set protocols, which includes limiting the amount of people who can be on set. And once shooting has finished, we also help the actor de-role after a scene and give them the tools that they need to leave the character at the door.”

Talbot said she and her colleagues ‘make a breakdown’ of a script after receiving it before chatting with the director of the film to get an idea of their ‘creative vision’.

“A script doesn’t always tell you everything,” she continued. “It will leave a lot to the imagination. However, the director will have a clear idea of what that looks like.

“We will then format each movement in the scene in the same way as you would do for a safe stage slap or punch.”

“We can even go as far as to make notes in the script on where arms and legs need to be placed,” Talbot went on. “The goal is that there are no surprises, so the actors can form the correct safety technique and stay protected.”

She said intimacy coordinators will use all sorts to create a ‘secure barrier’ between actors during sex scenes and she reckons doing this pays off massively.

“It gives them far more freedom to commit to the scene without being stressed,” Talbot added, explaining that a ‘crafted [sex] scene’ where everyone is clear on what goes where is much better than a slapdash one.

“If an actor is confident on where they can touch someone and the quality of touch that they can give, they can really commit to it,” she said.

Despite Talbot’s presence being an essential component and Kidman really admiring her work, the actress said she made sure that she and Dickinson weren’t ‘confined’ by the intimacy coordinator.

“I’m a huge believer still in the sacredness of the set or the actors’ space, and it never, never being violated,” the Eyes Wide Shut actress said. “Because it’s ours, it’s the bubble, and then there’s the world outside.”

I guess I’ll catch you all in the cinemas on 10 January to see how all this plays out on screen then.

Nicole Kidman’s co-star has spoken out about the ’embarrassing’ sex scenes in their new erotic thriller.

In case you’ve somehow missed the news, Kidman is starring opposite Harris Dickinson in Babygirl – which features some very steamy moments.

Watch the trailer below:

Kidman stars as high-powered CEO Romy who is successful at work but frustrated in a loveless marriage. However she becomes captivated by younger intern Samuel (Dickinson), leading to the pair embarking on a very NSFW affair. Not one to watch with your parents.

Big Little Lies star Kidman hasn’t been shy about opening up on what it was like to film the intimate moments behind-the-scenes, revealing in recent interviews that the Halina Reijn-directed flick felt like ‘something you do and hide in your home videos’ which left her feeling ‘very exposed’.

Now, Where the Crawdads Sing actor Dickinson has spoken about how he felt acting out the explicit moments, revealing how one particular moment left him feeling ’embarrassed’.

“We’d have a discussion with the intimacy coordinator and then Nicole and I kind of did our own thing with it once we set the parameters of what we were both comfortable with,” Dickinson said during a recent interview with Variety.

Explaining how the film’s intimacy co-ordinator Lizzie Talbot was able to make sure their steamy scenes went smoothly, he continued: “The intimacy coordinator is saying, ‘What are you comfortable with, what do you want as a director, what are you comfortable doing from that vision?’ They’re facilitating that and doing it very delicately without interrupting the actual scene.”

However their was one moment which Dickinson felt particularly embarrassed to film, one which involved near-naked dancing and George Michael.

“Halina put the song and said, ‘Just dance’. So I just had a little groove,” he recalled.

“Maybe I had a little whiskey before. But it was embarrassing.”

Kidman recently shared some further insight into how the scenes were shot, telling PEOPLE that there needed to be ‘an enormous amount of trust’ between her and Dickinson.

“We would look at each other and go ‘okay’. I’ve always been on a quest as an actor, I’m always going, where have I not been? And what can I explore as a human being? And this was an area I’d never been,” she explained.

“There’s a sort of a jump off the cliff thing where you go, okay, I’m just going to abandon everything and explore this with the people that I trust in a genre that is already set, but hopefully we can explore new territory and especially with the female at the helm.”

Kidman also added: “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it.”

Babygirl releases on Christmas Day – and will be available to watch in UK cinemas from 10 January.

Nicole Kidman has spoken about how the intimate scenes in her upcoming film Babygirl were shot after she had to stop filming on a few occasions.

The movie has Kidman playing a business executive who begins an affair with an intern (Harris Dickinson), while her husband (Antonio Banderas) is none the wiser, – though one might expect him to find out at some point in service of drama.

Things get pretty steamy in the film if the trailer is anything to go by, and Kidman said that she had to stop the cameras rolling a few times as she said ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more’.

She explained that in the intimate scenes ‘it was almost like a burnout’, and had words of praise for the movie’s intimacy coordinator Lizzy Talbot.

Kidman said she felt ‘incredibly safe’ even if the ‘vulnerable’ filming process left her feeling ‘ragged’ at times.

Speaking to PEOPLE, the Oscar winning star said that exploring the world of kink in Babygirl required ‘an enormous amount of trust’ between her and co-star Harris Dickinson.

She said: “We would look at each other and go ‘okay’. I’ve always been on a quest as an actor, I’m always going, where have I not been? And what can I explore as a human being? And this was an area I’d never been.

“There’s a sort of a jump off the cliff thing where you go, okay, I’m just going to abandon everything and explore this with the people that I trust in a genre that is already set, but hopefully we can explore new territory and especially with the female at the helm.”

Kidman added that Babygirl director Halina Reijn made sure the actors knew ‘I will protect you’ and reassured them ‘nothing that’s going to be in the film is anything you are not comfortable with’.

Her co-star Dickinson added: “Of course there were days where I would go in really terrified of a scene or I don’t know how I’m going to do this.

“There was never a day that if the scene wasn’t working or if we weren’t comfortable or we weren’t getting something, we never felt that time was more important. It was just like, ‘Okay, everyone go away for a second’.”

With the director and intimacy coordinator making sure everyone involved was comfortable and the actors having plenty of trust in each other, it all added up to a shoot where they could do ‘radically long takes’ of the intimate scenes.
