The Deal or No Deal presenter, 47, who’s been in television since the late 90s, temporarily stepped back from duties following the death of his father.
“As Stephen will be taking some time off, we’ve contacted guests to update them that The Masked Singer Live will now be headlining their break,” a statement from last month read.
Meanwhile, an ambulance was reportedly called for the telly favourite at 8pm on Wednesday (27 November).
Mulhern was said to be dining at a Pizza Express in Sunningdale after he was taken to nearby Frimley Park hospital in Camberley, Surrey.
His representatives confirmed that a procedure took place, merely as a precaution.

“Stephen has had an incredibly tough time over the past few weeks. His beloved father recently passed away which has hit him hard and has been understandably very stressful,” a spokesperson told MailOnline.
“In addition he had a procedure which took place yesterday (Wednesday). Following the anaesthetic that was administered, he had a few drinks which made him unwell and he was.”
A source also told The Sun: “Stephen has been going through an incredibly tough time of late. He is grieving the loss of his dad to whom he was so, so close.
“He’s also been battling several well-documented health problems, and on Wednesday morning had a procedure requiring a local anaesthetic.

“He took himself off for a quiet, solo dinner that evening, had a few drinks and just reacted incredibly badly. He’s only human, and his dad’s death has hit him hard.
“Stephen immediately felt unwell and concerned staff came over, and called 999. “Paramedics checked him over and took him to hospital as a precaution. He was also put on the phone to his mum to reassure her that he was OK.
“Stephen is recovering well at home now, and is resting up.
“He’s so grateful for the care he received, and is mortified that he had such an awful — and public — reaction to the anaesthetic.”
Mulhern began his career in entertainment as a magician on Magic Circle before transitioning into TV in the late 90s.

Suits actor Patrick J. Adams, best known for playing fraudulent lawyer Michael Ross, has explained why he left the show in its seventh season.
The drama TV show based around fictional law firm Pearson Hardman in New York City aired on USA Network from 2011 to 2019, for a total of nine seasons.
Adams starred in the show alongside the likes of Gabriel Macht, Meghan Markle and Rick Hoffman, playing a lawyer that doesn’t have a licence to practice, but passed the bar due to his photographic memory.
With a cult-like following, it’s no surprise that news of a spin-off excited fans.
However, a couple of the main cast left the show a couple of years before its finale, namely Gina Torres, Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams himself.
Markle had to put a halt to her acting career after getting married to Prince Harry at the end of season seven, while Torres left for personal reasons as her contract expired after season six.
But now, Adams has lifted the lid on his departure from the show, where the season seven finale saw his character get married to Markle’s character, Rachel Zane, and move to Seattle together.
Although he returned in a recurring role in season nine, Adams was never an ever-present on the show again.
The 43-year-old was a guest on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Dinner’s on Me podcast, where he spoke about the challenges he faced while on the show.

The man behind Mike Ross has explained his pre-mature departure from the show (USA Network)
Adams said that he wanted to put more emphasis on his marriage to Troian Bellisario, best known for her role in Pretty Little Liars, and that he was fighting a mental health battle.
“I wasn’t taking good care of my mental health and I was drinking too much [at] the end of Season 7,” the actor revealed.
He explained: “I was in a zone of living a pretty unexamined life. Pretty miserable (and) I would say, pretty depressed.
“I didn’t have the tools to deal with that depression beyond just spending money and drinking too much, and not really knowing how to talk about it.”
Comparing his mental age at the time to still being a 25-year-old by ‘doing patterns of how I would numb myself’ to deal with any worries, he realised that it was negatively impacting his relationship and making him a bad father.
Adams admitted: “That for me was a breaking point when I was like, ‘I think I should stop drinking probably, because I don’t wanna be that dad’. The best thing I think I ever did for myself was stop drinking.
“It just needed to happen in order for all these other things to happen.”

He revealed that ‘the only reason to stay was money’, revealing: “I didn’t know what else to offer.
“Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and think about the money (Gabriel Macht) made those last two years, but I never regretted the decision for a second. It was the right thing for my marriage.
“It was time,” he stated.
Adams has two daughters with Bellisario, 39, and though he has improved his family life, he hasn’t ruled out a possible appearance in the upcoming Suits spin-off, which Macht is set to return for.
Speaking at the Golden Globes earlier this year, he said: “Whatever the case, our fearless Aaron is working on it. And if we get the call, if I get the call, I’m ready to get dressed,
“I love the show, I love the character. And I’ve loved working with all these people.”
Markle also once said ‘never say never’ to a Suits return, as she looks back fondly at her time on the show.

“Following a scan, the brilliant NHS team have assured us that he will make a speedy and full recovery and Ian is in good spirits.
“The production his made the decision to cancel the performance on Tuesday 18 June so Ian can rest. Those affected will be contacted by their point of purchase as soon as possible tomorrow.

McKellen, best known for his role as Gandalf in the J.R.R Tolkein adaption and Magneto in X-Men, was playing the role of John Falstaff in the West End adaption of Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Parts One and Two. The production was in the middle of a 12-week run which started in April.
Audience member Paul Critchley revealed to PA that McKellen appeared to ‘trip’ as he moved across the stage.
“Sir Ian seemed to trip as he moved downstage to take a more active part in the scene,” he said.
“He picked up momentum as he moved downstage which resulted in him falling off the stage directly in front of the audience.
“The house lights came up very quickly as the stage management and front of house team dealt with the incident. We were evacuated immediately so that Sir Ian could be treated in privacy.”
According to a report from the BBC, McKellen was performing in a fight scene with Prince of Wales and Henry Percy when he fell from the front of the stage. He is said to have cried out in pain as theatre staff rushed to help him.

Stephen Graham and Co had to be on top form when turning up to film this upcoming four-part series, as there wasn’t any room for error while shooting in one continuous take.
The legendary actor, 51, will soon be back on our screens again to star in another brilliant drama – and Netflix have kindly given us all a sneak peek of what’s to come.
The streaming platform has roped in some big names to makeup the cast of the crime series, including the likes of Graham, Top Boy star Ashley Walters and The Crown‘s Erin Doherty.

With a line-up like that, viewers are already certain that Adolescence is one show they don’t want to miss.
But if you need more persuasion to tune into the thrilling series when it’s finally released at some point next year, maybe these stills from the show will help sway you.
Netflix shared a series of pictures which hint at the action that Adolescence has in store for us, which has stirred up tons of excitement among fans.
In a post on X, the streaming platform wrote: “It follows the unflinching, one-shot story of a 13-year-old boy who is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl. Arriving next year on Netflix.”
If you don’t already have Netflix, you’ll be pleased to hear that Sky is currently offering a mega TV bundle with Netflix included for just £19 a month – it’s cheapest ever bundle – as part of its early Black Friday sale.
Let’s unpack what we know about the series so far.

Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters and Erin Doherty will star in the crime drama (Netflix)
Graham has teamed up with his longtime collaborators Philip Barantini and Jack Thorne to produce Adolescence, while Brad Pitt is also one of the executive producers.
You see how this is shaping up to be an absolute showstopper?
Anyway, the series tells the story of a 13-year-old lad Jamie Miller (played by Owen Cooper), who gets arrested for the murder of a girl at his school.
Boiling Point star Graham portrays his father and the ‘appropriate’ adult, Eddie Miller, who is allowed to sit in on his interviews while he is being grilled by cops.
Walters will play a detective inspector Luke Bascombe, who is tasked with getting to the bottom of the grisly crime, while Chloe star Doherty will appear as a clinical psychologist Briony Ariston.
Other notable names include Game of Thrones‘ Faye Marsay, Happy Valley alum Mark Stanley, After Life actress Jo Hartley and The Responder‘s Christine Tremarco.

Although the stellar cast has set tongues wagging, the fact that Adolescence is being filmed in one continuous take has also impressed Netflix connoisseurs.
It’s not the first time Graham has experimented with this one-shot style, as he and Barantini also used this method while shooting the BBC‘s hit show Boiling Point.
The actor wrote and created Adolescence alongside Thorne, who he has previously worked with on the likes of Help and The Virtues.
Netflix have been shooting the show since July this year, including in various spots across South Kirkby and Sheffield.
There’s no trailer for Adolescence just yet, but keep your eyes peeled.

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he was sent to hospital in an ambulance after feeling a ‘tightness’ in his chest.
The Clarkson’s Farm star, 64, said he started to experience a ‘sudden deterioration’ of his health while on holiday in the Indian Ocean.
In his column for The Sunday Times, Clarkson said he all of a sudden found it difficult to swim and that he couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs ‘without holding someone’s hand’.
“These problems all manifested themselves in one day, which made the rest of my holiday extremely relaxing because all I did was sit in a chair drinking wine and eating cheese,” he wrote.
“Back at home, though, the sudden deterioration began to gather pace.
“I woke on Wednesday morning not feeling too good. I was clammy and there was a tightness in my chest.”
After initially ignoring the symptoms, he started to feel ‘pins and needles’ in his left arm.
The TV presenter was then taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in an ambulance for checks on his heart.

“But then one of the doctors, who was so senior he wasn’t even a mister, decided that before sending me home with a headache pill and a ‘fraud of the week’ certificate, he’d put me in a big Polo mint,” the former Top Gear host continued.
“And after coming out of that, I was off to the operating theatre. Because my bankruptcy was most definitely just around the corner. Days away? ‘Maybe,’ he said.”
Scans showed that one of his arteries ‘was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way’.
“So he made a hole in my wrist, inserted his Dyno-Rod equipment and went in for a closer look,” Clarkson added.
“God, it’s weird, lying there and feeling a metal pipe with a camera on the end wiggling its way round your shoulder and through your chest.
“The question was this. Were the arteries so ruined that I’d need an emergency heart bypass?”

Doctors told Clarkson he was ‘maybe’ days away from having a heart attack (Neil Mockford/GC Images)
Offering an alternative to surgery, Clarkson explained: “Or could he use his Dyno-Rods and some ultrasonic battering rams to loosen them up before inserting a stent? Which is a sort of Brillo pad that’s used to keep the blood vessels open.
“Mercifully, this turned out to be possible. But it took two hours and at one point it felt like he’d put a Hoover pipe up my arm, along with a pile driver, and was busy inside my heart with a B&Q chisel and hammer gift set. It wasn’t especially painful. Just odd.
“The next morning I went home, and here I am, two hours later, writing this and sort of thinking, ‘Crikey, that was close’.
“I have no idea why I had felt clammy the previous day or why I’d had those pins and needles.
“I certainly wasn’t having a heart attack. But if it hadn’t looked that way, I never would have been sent to hospital and fed into that Polo mint.”
