Corinna Kopf’s pals might want to pump the brakes on their plans for her ‘retirement’ party, as it seems the OnlyFans star might have jumped the gun with her bombshell announcement.

The 28-year-old sent social media into a spin earlier this week after she appeared to dramatically declare that she was calling time on her career as an adult star.

She seemingly confirmed she was stepping away from OnlyFans after three very prosperous years on the X-rated platform, which are rumoured to have allowed her to stack up a whopping $67 million (£51.66 million).

With that kind of money in the bank, you can understand why the online star would be happy to take a premature retirement.

In a post on Twitter on Thursday (24 October), Kopf cryptically wrote: “No more link in bio…….”

For those who don’t have a clue what this means (yeah, yeah), people who sell spicy content on saucy sites such as OnlyFans – and content creators in general, for that matter – typically have a URL on their social media profile which directs punters to their page.

So when the Chicago-born model seemed to suggest that she was getting rid of hers, it looked as though she was going to step away from the platform.

Kopf has chopped and changed careers before, having first started out as a member of David Dobrik’s YouTube ‘vlog squad’ back in 2016 before making a name for herself with her Fortnite streams.

After launching her own channel, she went on to branch out into broader content and began uploading videos with her pals, as well as filming clothing hauls and home tours.

In 2021, she then embarked on her OnlyFans career and began raking in colossal amounts of money each month.

And after three years of cashing in on adult content, Kopf seemed like she was ready to call it a day – however, she shared another couple of posts yesterday (25 October) to clarify her comments about her alleged retirement.

She wrote: “So… i haven’t actually retired from that site just yet but i do want to try and separate from it slowly over the next couple of months [sic].

“I’ve been in a consistent battle with myself over it recently and it’s time to slowly step away.”

Kopf then revealed her motivations for distancing herself from OnlyFans.

In a follow-up post, she continued: “If you want me to be super and i mean SUPER transparent i hate being on the site/ how i’m looked at by others but i’m currently building a home and walking away from $300,000+ dollars a month seems a little…stupid [sic].”

So, even though she seems to be a bit on the fence about it, it appears that Kopf won’t be retiring after all – for now.

She followed this up with a more detailed statement in which she said she was ‘slowly stepping away’ from OnlyFans after being in a ‘constant battle’ with herself.

“So… I haven’t actually retired from that site just yet but I do want to try and separate from it slowly over the next couple of months,” she said.

“I’ve been in a consistent battle with myself over it recently and it’s time to slowly step away.”

Before OnlyFans, Kopf had made a name for herself on YouTube after being a member of David Dobrik’s YouTube ‘vlog squad’ back in 2016.

She also went on to stream herself playing Fortnite, with thousands of people tuning in to watch her try and win a battle royale or two.

The content also shifted to lifestyle videos, with home tours and clothing hauls on the agenda.

And despite moving away from working with Dobrik directly, they remained good friends.

So much so that he actually leaked her OnlyFans monthly earnings back in 2022 video posted to TikTok.

In the video, which shows Kopf lying on a couch, Dobrik says: “This is my friend Corinna, she’s kind of had a side hustle going on that we all know about.

“But look at how much she’s made. I want everyone at home to please buckle in because this makes me want to f**king vomit.

“This is monthly. Monthly!”

Showing a screenshot of Kopf’s earnings on OnlyFans from June 2021 to February 2022, the numbers are absolutely staggering.

The lowest she earned in that time was $683,000, with the highest being $2.36 million.

All in all, in the nine months of payslips shown by Kopf, she raked in more than $10 million.

So one thing she won’t be short of is money, with her $67 million (£51.66 million) giving her more than enough to enjoy a lavish lifestyle even if she was to never earn another penny again.

On moving away from OnlyFans, Kopf added: “If you want me to be super and I mean SUPER transparent, I hate being on the site / how I’m looked at by others.

By now, I think we all know how much money can be made on OnlyFans and it’s probably the number one reason why it’s become so popular.

YouTuber Tana Mongeau appears to be no different from other success stories as she’s shown off the eye-watering amount she has earned from the platform.

For those pretending they’ve never heard of it, OnlyFans sees people pay creators for content, usually pornographic, for a monthly fee.

This can range from X-rated images or videos, fetish content, and various fan requests that are charged as extra.

26-year-old Mongeau, who made her name as a YouTuber as well as on the Cancelled podcast with Brooke Schofield, has since explained why she signed herself up.

“If I’m drunk and throwing a party and wearing a see-through shirt, I might as well monetise that,” the content creator, from Nevada, told The Cut.

“So many men on the internet sexualised me for so long against my own will, and I got to a point where I finally was like, ‘Damn, I might as well make a million dollars off of it’.”

And she certainly was not lying when it comes to her OnlyFans earnings.

Taking to Instagram back in 2020, Mongeau shared a photo of a glass trophy that read: “Congratulations top earner,” with a whopping ‘$3,000,000’ below it.

In a 2023 interview with Forbes, Mongeau said: “People are going to underestimate you as a woman in pretty much everything, and you’re gonna have to claw your way up a little harder than most men are.

“But I wanted it and I did it, and I don’t give a [redacted] if it’s hard.

“Had I been cookie cutter, I would’ve never amassed any success.

“And had I switched up to a perfectly brand safe business woman … I don’t think I would’ve made it to the point that I’m at.”

However, Mongeau has been involved in a fair few controversies over the years.

Most notably in 2018 when she organised ‘TanaCon’, a convention in response to her alleged feud with VidCon, where she was accused of mistreating creators.

TanaCon was an event in California that promised fans a chance to meet their favourite influencers, but ended in chaos.

Thousands of attendees were reportedly left outside in the heat for hours without proper accommodations, so the event was cancelled on its first day.

In 2020, Mongeau was also was criticised for attending parties during the Covid-19 pandemic, despite the guidelines.

She did apologise for her ‘careless and irresponsible’ decision.

Despite the controversies, Mongeau continues to have a massive following across all of the major social platforms.
